Common Gambling Myths Debunked

"The more you play, the more likely you are to win"

WRONG. The longer you play has no affect on the likelihood you will be successful. The outcomes are never guaranteed, no matter the length of play. This is called the gambler’s fallacy.

"If you play long enough, you will win back all of your money"

WRONG. There is no correlation to time vs money won. Gambling is a leisure activity and should be enjoyable. If you feel like you are playing beyond your means, please use Fitzdares responsible gambling tools.

"Knowledge of a game can give you a better chance of winning"

WRONG. Fitzdares always encourages players to make educated decisions and to fully understand the games or types of wages they are placing. Knowledge of a game never accounts for chance. The exciting part of sports is the unknowable and the unpredictability.
